Dog Breed Restrictions

For the safety and insurance purposes of all our guests, we regret that we cannot accommodate breeds listed under the UK's Dangerous Dogs Act. This currently includes but not limited too Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro. We appreciate your understanding regarding this policy.

On-Lead Policy

To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, all dogs must be kept on a strong, short lead or tether at all times while anywhere on the campsite grounds.

No Long Lines or Flexi-Leads: For the safety of children and other guests, long lines and retractable (flexi) leads are not permitted. A short lead or tether helps prevent unexpected interactions and tripping hazards.

Why This Policy Matters: This rule is in place for several reasons:

Guest Comfort: Not all guests are comfortable around dogs, and some may have allergies or fears.

Dog Safety: It protects your own dog from approaching other dogs unexpectedly, and from potential hazards around the campsite.

Wildlife Protection: It helps protect local wildlife that may be present on or around the campsite.

Livestock Protection: It helps protect livestock that may be present on or around the campsite.

Dog Waste

We kindly ask that you are a responsible pet owner and immediately clear up all dog waste. Please dispose of it in the designated bins provided around the campsite. Failing to pick up after your dog is unhygienic and disrespectful to other guests.

Supervision and Behaviour

Adult Supervision Required: Dogs must always be under the direct supervision of an adult. Please do not leave your dog unattended at your pitch or anywhere on site.

Contained and Quiet: Ensure your dog is well-behaved and does not cause excessive barking or disturbance to other campers, especially during quiet hours.

Respecting Pitches: Please keep your dog within the boundaries of your own pitch and do not allow them to wander onto other pitches.

Non-Compliance Policy

Should a dog display aggressive, dangerous, or persistently disruptive behaviour, or if any of our pet policies are not adhered to, the owners will be asked to leave the campsite immediately, without a refund. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests.
